wearing... a variety of weather appropriate clothing - it's cold one day and warm the next - so ready for Spring.

eating...not as much as I used to - thanks to Weight Watchers

drinking...lots and lots of water!

laughing at...little girls - they are so funny!

praying about... a new opportunity coming my way!

looking forward to... my first anniversary and our trip to Destin! and warmer weather sticking around!

30 days of Thanks:: day 1

I have decided - you know, since i haven't posted in 6 months - that I would try my hardest to post every day in November.  And since, it is the month of Thanksgiving, each post would be about thankfulness. 

So, here's day 1::
I am thankful for my home.  It is a place of refuge and rest.  These days, it is definitely a huge blessing in my life.  I am loving settling into it as a married woman.  I bought this house when I was single and it just seems completely different since March.  I love it though.  Even more than that, I love the man and the animals I share it with.

sitting.

good morning.
i'm sitting in the dark this morning because 1) the husband is still sleeping. 2) the new flooring will be installed today so all the lamps and sundries are in another room. 3) i'm too lazy this morning to get up and turn anything on. 

back to #2.  the laminate floors will take over the living room, kitchen, and hallway today.  they are going to be beautiful and i cannot wait to see them!  the baseboards have been scrubbed and the doorframes trimmed up.  i am so thankful that i married a handy guy who also bought me a nail gun.  i have always wanted one.  i'm gonna be a power tool expert soon.  i just know it.

well, my puppy wants some food and some snuggling. i should probably get to that.
